Zaza: The Plumbing Foreman Who Is About to Make Music His Full Time Life and Has the Momentum to Prove It

Some people talk about chasing their dream. Zaza is doing it while working full time as a plumbing foreman in construction, recording every moment he has off, traveling out of town for showcases and building industry relationships simultaneously. That is not a grind people can fake and the music reflects every bit of that work ethic.

He started with a guitar as a kid. Garage bands. The kind of early musical foundation that most rap artists never have. As he got older and the streets became part of his reality, that passion shifted from playing strings to rapping over beats. The instrument changed but the need to express himself never did.

Music became therapy. A way to tell his story and share it with the world honestly. And that is exactly what every record he makes does.

From Off The Porch to everywhere

Zaza has only been seriously recording for almost a year. Let that sit for a second.

Less than twelve months of focused recording and he has already appeared on Off The Porch, one of the most respected platforms for independent artists trying to get their music in front of a real audience. That kind of early placement does not happen by accident. It happens when the music is undeniable and the hustle behind it matches.

He has got a collab coming with World Star's "Hit Or Miss" mic drop series and is set to appear on "The Debut," the viral Instagram showcase, in November. Two more major placements for an artist who has barely been at this a year. The momentum is real and he is keeping his foot on the gas exactly like he said he would.

The Heavy Hustle EP and what is coming

The debut studio project is called the "Heavy Hustle EP" and the title could not be more fitting for who Zaza is right now. A man hustling between a full time construction job and a music career he refuses to let stay a dream.

The project is dropping in October or November and he is building it right. Working with big producers out of Tampa. Locking in features. Putting in the time and the travel to make sure this first official project represents exactly where he is and where he is going.

Every spare moment off the job site goes into the music. Every trip out of town is another connection made, another platform reached, another step toward the full time artist life he has been chasing since he was a kid with a guitar in a garage.

"My lifelong dream has always been to be a professional artist ever since I was a little kid."

The transition is happening

Zaza is not waiting for permission to make the leap. He is building the bridge while still walking on solid ground. The construction job pays well and he is honest about that. But the music is the life he has always wanted and everything he is doing right now is pointing toward the moment when the music becomes the job.

Off The Porch. World Star. The Debut. Tampa producers. Features on the EP. New engineers. New industry connections built every time he travels. All of it in less than a year of serious recording from someone who works full time and still finds the hours to build something real.

The Heavy Hustle EP is not just an album title. It is a description of exactly how it was made.
