Pooh Shiesty is still pursuing pre-trial release as his legal case continues to develop, with his upcoming trial now scheduled for February 22, 2027.
The rapper was previously arrested alongside his father and fellow rapper Big30, along with several other co-defendants, in connection to allegations involving a robbery and kidnapping case. The situation has drawn widespread media attention due to the high-profile individuals involved.
The original trial date had been set for July 6, but the court postponed proceedings due to the complexity of the case and the number of parties involved. While some co-defendants, including Shiesty’s father and Big30, have been granted pre-trial release, Pooh Shiesty remains in custody.
According to legal reporter Bryson “Boom” Paul, Shiesty’s defense team has recently filed a new bail motion in an effort to secure his release while he awaits trial. His attorney, Kent Schafer, stated that being released would allow Shiesty to better prepare for his defense and actively participate in fighting the charges against him.
The case remains ongoing as the court weighs further motions and prepares for the extended timeline leading up to the 2027 trial date.
