With so many standout projects released this year, fans have plenty of music to choose from. However, LeBron James says there's one album in particular that has been getting most of his attention lately: The Fall-Off by J. Cole.
During a recent interview, the NBA superstar was asked what he's currently listening to. Without hesitation, James pointed to Cole's latest project, saying the album has been in heavy rotation for him.
His admiration for the project shouldn't come as a surprise. Earlier this year, LeBron sparked plenty of online reactions when he arrived at a game carrying a vinyl copy of The Fall-Off. The moment quickly circulated across social media, with fans joking about his dedication to the album.
J. Cole later shared additional details about the interaction while speaking with Carmelo Anthony. According to the rapper, LeBron brought the vinyl specifically to have it signed. Cole explained that he had brought his sons to the game, and because his oldest son is a huge fan of LeBron, the two were able to exchange a memorable gesture.
The story highlighted the mutual respect between the basketball icon and the Grammy-winning rapper, while further proving just how much James has been enjoying Cole's latest release.
