Jadakiss has revealed that DJ Khaled was unhappy with remarks he made regarding Drake's recent criticism of the producer.
On his latest album ICEMAN, Drake takes aim at DJ Khaled on the track Make Them Pay. The lyrics reference Khaled's silence on the ongoing situation in Palestine, an issue that has drawn scrutiny given Khaled's Palestinian heritage and global prominence.
During a previous episode of the podcast Joe and Jada, Jadakiss shared his view that Drake was within his rights to address Khaled in his music. His co-host, Fat Joe, disagreed with that perspective, citing his close friendship with Khaled.
On a more recent episode, Jadakiss disclosed that Khaled apparently took issue with his comments. Despite that, the rapper maintained that he was not choosing sides and was simply offering his honest opinion on the matter.
Addressing the situation directly, Jadakiss said that he still has love for Khaled and emphasized that his role was to comment on the discussion objectively. According to Jadakiss, his analysis wasn't meant as an attack on anyone but rather as his interpretation of a hip-hop controversy.
His comments highlight the delicate balance artists often face when discussing conflicts involving friends and peers, especially in a culture where public opinions can quickly become part of the story itself.
