Rapper Ice Spice is continuing to battle a lawsuit filed by TheeBellaBrand LLC, a wig company seeking $400,000 in damages over an alleged business dispute.
According to the lawsuit, the company claims Ice Spice failed to pay approximately $20,000 for custom wigs it provided. The business also alleges that comments made by the rapper on social media damaged its reputation and resulted in lost revenue, significantly increasing the amount of damages being sought.
Ice Spice has denied the allegations and previously attempted to have the lawsuit dismissed. Her legal team argued that the claims were exaggerated and unfairly targeted her public image. However, the court declined to throw out the case, allowing it to move forward.
As part of the ongoing proceedings, Ice Spice has now been ordered to sit for a deposition. During the session, attorneys will have the opportunity to question her under oath about the allegations and the events surrounding the dispute.
Reports indicate that the deposition is scheduled to take place on September 10 in New York. The testimony could play a significant role in determining how the case proceeds as both sides continue to present their arguments.
