Federal prosecutors have released new surveillance images as part of their effort to keep Pooh Shiesty in custody while he awaits trial on charges related to the alleged armed robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane.
According to court filings, prosecutors argue that Pooh Shiesty should remain behind bars pending trial. The rapper is accused, along with his father, Big30, and several others, of traveling to Dallas as part of an alleged plot connected to a contract dispute. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
The newly filed documents include still images taken from surveillance footage that investigators say was recovered from the alleged crime scene. In the released images, Gucci Mane—identified by his legal name, Radric Davis—is partially obscured, while several individuals alleged by prosecutors to be involved in the incident are visible. One image appears to show Davis being held at gunpoint, according to the prosecution's allegations.
Federal authorities also stated that they possess video footage of the alleged incident. However, prosecutors indicated that the video itself has not been made public and is expected to be presented as evidence during trial proceedings rather than released beforehand.
While Pooh Shiesty's father and Big30 have reportedly been granted release pending trial, Pooh Shiesty remains in federal custody as the court considers the government's request to continue his detention.
