Shaney Poo is an independent recording artist whose love for music started long before anyone was listening. As a child he filled shoe boxes with over 100 pages of original lyrics, a quiet signal of what was coming. After a college experience surrounded by recording artists sparked his full commitment to music, he spent over a decade developing his sound, releasing projects and growing into the artist he always had the potential to be. His latest album "Welcome To The New World," nearly three years in the making, represents his most ambitious and globally influenced work to date, featuring Singeli producer Iddy Classic from Tanzania and a collaboration with Tanzanian star Balaa MC on the "Birthday Party Remix." A creative sponge who draws inspiration from music all over the world, Shaney Poo makes albums that evolve with every release and connect across every cultural boundary.
