Lou! is a Chicago-based artist, producer, and audio engineer blending boom bap lyricism with the energy of modern drill. After starting his music journey at 12 years old, he spent years mastering every aspect of the craft—from writing and recording to production and mixing. Inspired by artists like Joey Bada$$ and Capital STEEZ, Lou! uses music as both therapy and self-expression, creating records that reflect love, growth, community, and real-life experiences. His latest project, Smokin Bout You, explores the highs and lows of relationships through soulful storytelling and hard-hitting production. Beyond his own music, Lou! is building a Chicago collective alongside Saint Montana, WEAZO, and JOJO while continuing to develop emerging talent. As a proud Mexican artist, he is committed to promoting Black and Brown unity, uplifting his community, and creating music with purpose.
