Benjamin Benz, born Curtis Edmonds Jr., is a veteran trap and gangster rap artist from Brooklyn, New York with over 26 years in hip-hop as an independent unsigned artist. A former battle rap competitor who went round for round with Math Hoffa and Hollow Da Don, won a week straight on Power 105's live freestyle battle competition and appeared on multiple legendary rap DVDs, he transitioned to recording artist in 2012 and has been building his catalog independently ever since. Self producing alongside Chicago producer Weatherman Beatz, he has released five singles this summer including "Work That Body," "For the Love of Money," "What's Up Now," "Wap Wet" and "5000," all available on every major streaming platform through DistroKid. He has performed at iconic New York venues including SOBs, Irving Plaza and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and continues to deliver unfiltered commercial street trap rap on his own terms.
